An award-winning Saint-Émilion Grand Crû red wine, 2016 was a 5-star vintage in Bordeaux. The nose is a concentration of black fruits including blackberry and blueberry so typical of this excellent vintage. Sweet nuances with delicate oaky notes are also abundant. The taste has an abundance of various flavors including ripe fruits which will give a sweet sensation on the palate (The wine is dry) so typical of merlot, combined with powerful notes due to the cabernet. The wine is full-bodied and extremely well-balanced with smooth tannins, firm acidity, and a long finish. This Saint Emilion Grand crû certainly has the wow factor in each sip as noted by many of the world's wine critics. It’s recommended to decant the wine for at least 1 hour.
